Account Manager/Executive – Specialty (Up to Senior Level) – Western Michigan (REMOTE)
Work for an amazing non-profit entity leader in a niche insurance segment where client service and retention is the name of the game.
The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to strategize how best to service and retain existing members in both the Property Casualty (PC) Pool and Workers’ Compensation (WC) Fund. The Account Manager with be point of contact between company and clients working in a very collaborative environment. This includes service requests, and risk management/coverage related questions ensuring an amazing customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build and foster long-term working relationships with constituencies of importance including professional associations and decision makers
- Call on management personnel and other parties to retain, promote and service PC and WC products
- Conduct account visits throughout the year
- Represent company at functions, member outings, conferences, and seminars to build and maintain strong relationships
- Possess a high level of subject matter expertise in order to present coverage information, renewal details, risk management protocols, etc.
- Recommend changes and modifications to PC and WC Products
Looking for:
- Bachelors or equivalent experience
- 10+ years sales/marketing
- 5+ years of insurance PC/WC experience required
- Must live within the territory
- Superior communication skills
- Must obtain and maintain required licensing
